I have never had any serious training, yet crossfit is interesting in a way that regular training is not! Read about my journey here!

My weekly schedule is 5 days of CrossFit and only 5, due to me being a beginner. It would be stupid to go too often and get a injury because of me working to hard in the beginning. So i have planned to force myself to have rest days at every friday and sunday the next month or two - untill I know how to recognize the signals my body is sending, when it comes to training.
Unfortunately I did not eat paleo today, at all - which broke my streak of 6 days straight with a paleo meal. But I feel good about it - it was not exactly unhealthy either. It was just something not-paleo. Just a plain and simple oatmeal with some milk. It was not because it was easier or anything, and looking back I should’ve made some bacon instead.
At noon we warmed that awesome lasagna from friday and enjoyed that, but it was so tough on me, that I have been feeling full since then. I have not had a meal since 1pm, and here at 11pm, I’m still full. I do think paleo has a positive effect on how food i need to eat before im full and I like it. It feels right.
So looking back on this week, it has been a great week with a lot of crossfit. It has also been a full week on the new style of my posts, that includes the stats and the counter, which is a feature I really like doing. So how has the workouts through the week been? Pretty good, but my coach said a thing yesterday, which was a pretty good indication of how it actually has been. He said that I had been completely smashed after every single workout this week, and he thought it was awesome. Actually hearing that from another person just made my day. If I have excess energy after a workout, and i actually feel that if have some energy left to stand up, I have been doing it wrong.
Looking at me today, I have now been doing Crossfit for 14 days and I love it. I am really addicted. I would never have thought that I would be addicted to something as dumb as lifting weights. I do know that it is early to say I am addicted, but boy that it feel that way.
I also took a look at myself in the mirror earlier today and I noticed that my double chin is gone and I could also see the muscles in my arms. There is still a layer of fat on top of the muscles that hides them, but I can see them when i try to flex them! I have also noticed that i am getting stronger when it comes to lifting certain things. I cant wait to see where I am at in a month - this is so exciting!
