I have never had any serious training, yet crossfit is interesting in a way that regular training is not! Read about my journey here!

Today at breakfast I tried adding more bacon and less egg to spice things up and it turned out to be a great success. I enjoyed my breakfast a lot more than the previous couple of days, just because it had a looot of bacon! :D
At work I mixed myself another salad with salmon (the lunchlady can make one thing, and just one thing - doing variations is too much for her to handle), and it got my hunger away, but I didnt feel full in any way, but I guess thats how paleo is supposed to feel in the beginning. The day at work went slowly by and I got home to a lovely dinner my girlfriend had made. It was a little of everything healthy one can find, and it was paleo!
I arrived at the box early, once again to practice my doubleunders. They really got me - im really hooked to learning that properly and I actually enjoy doing them. After a little while, i started getting a good rhythm on them and could do sets of 4 and 5 a couple of times, but then - all out of nowhere it just snapped. I did 14 unbroken doubleunders. FOURTEEN! Suddenly i just catched the rhythm and i got them really tight, untill i made a mistake and slowed down. But still, I’m very pleased by that result, and that was even before the workout!
I was really looking forward to todays workout, mainly because i could feel the improvements in my body when i got up from bed. It may have been imaginative, but i swear i feel different. When i look at myself, i think my general posture has improved.
I was told earlier that the intro course would have a new coach (As the box is pretty new, there are only 2 or 3 coaches, and who blames them for expanding?)
The new coach started with a lot of theory about the kb swing and also a lot of theory about the general posture, including the plank, pushups and similar exercises. It did not take long before I realised that this guy did not have the crossfit level 1 exam, but instead a lot of different other stuff. He is on the danish olympic long distance running team (or so he said), so he had to know what he was talking about.
I woke up with muscles feeling sore in places i did not know i had muscles. It was the weirdest feeling i have had in my body for many years. Did I enjoy it? You bet I did, because i can feel on my body that i pushed it - and pushed it hard!
I was really looking forward to coming to the box today, because earlier today i told my boss that i would be quitting my job in a month from now. I arrived in the box to see some of the same people as the first day, which really was great! I wasn’t the only one to be insane enough to come two days straight!
I was really excited to start the first class. It was rather early in the morning (10:30) and i was genuinely excited to getting started. The class started with some basic theory on the 9 fundamental movements, which was really informative and was a great icebreaker.
After doing a basic warmup, we got to the WOD, which was:
12 min AMRAP
I had a goal in my head of doing at least 4 rounds, which would give me 3 minutes to do each round. It seemed like something manageable, but boy was i wrong! I completed the first round way too fast (which was done in about 2:30 i think) and left me really dizzy and exhausted. I did pull myself together and i managed to complete 3 full rounds and 10 tirejumps in the 12 minutes.
